visual format hyperlink

hi,

I'm using the hyperlink in visual format.
Here's my link for some reason I need to use ampersan.
sample link.

http://www.test.com/?idData=1111&filePath=/attachments/one.doc

when i edit the link it keeps adding ampersan
http://www.test.com/?idData=1111&amp;amp;filePath=/attachments/one.doc

any ideas?

i know what it's doing but i don't know how one would fix it. The VFE is taking the & and converting it to & and each time you edit it it's seeing & and converting the &into another & which is why you get &amp;amp; so evidently you've edited it twice. As to how to fix it i'd say look at how it's converting special characters into html entities. I have no idea where to point you too specificially though.

Just fixing the post so that it is clearer what you are saying (not the salsa, the salsa ;-)

Is the problem only in the DCR? i.e., if you generate an output file from it with a PT - does the output file still have '&' - or does it have '&'? My guess is that it would be the latter - which is to be expected - you cannot have a bare '&' within an XML file (which is what the DCR is).
