Custom Property

I am using Webtop 6.5.

Using DA I created a custom type billing_document_type which extends dm_document. When i create a document (Word Document) of this new custom type (billing_document_type) , I see the IInd tab of Info to enter the meta-data which has both inhertited dm_document attributes PLUS billing_document_type attribute.

My Question is,Is there way using form builder to have custom layout on IInd tab of Info properties ? Currently it just lays out same way all types .

I am attaching random layout that I want.

The issue is that Webtop does not know how your form template is associated with your custom type. You can do this in Taskspace, but I'm not sure if you can do this within Webtop.

Webtop support for Forms Builder was initially to support plain old forms (eg File->New->Form). I dont know off the top of my head if you can associate the form in lieu of properties page without some customization.

You may use Documentum Composer to define the property screen definition for your new attribute. So it is displayed if you view or edit the properties of your type.

Composer will only let you define the orderling of the attributes in default single column layout. It doesnt provide the UI flexibility that the OP requested and that Forms Builder supports.
