Hi,
What could be the reason for following error?. This Exception trows when I try to Retrieve asset using task.
Web Serveice API:RetrieveFile_URL($assetId, $revisionNumber,$TaskArray[$i],$rtpPrimitives,$bWaitOnJob);

MBException: ERROR: Invalid operation. (0x8004045A)

That particular error comes directly from the MediaBin server...is there anything written in the server's MBP.log?

Invalid operation usually occurs in two cases:
1) Attempting to perform an operation on items within Deleted Items. Because asests in Deleted Items are subject to "clean-up" they have a limited set of operations that can legally be performed on them. Essentially the only legal operation is to move the out of Deleted Items at which point one can do anything.
2) Another case in which one can get this error is in the case of pending or ghost images. These are placed in a container during the time that an insertion job is running to keep the name reserved. Since the asset is not completely there, it cannot be retrieved.
Primarily people run into case 1 particularly with scripts that recursively traverse folders.
