Did you try installing in other than the default directory?

I got this error before the installation program ask's for the INSTALLATION PATH .

Check to see that you do not have any related processes running when you try to install. Java is one of these processes which I believe is throwing the error (hence the stack trace).

Environments:
(1,2) TS6.5, TS6.5SP1 on W2K3
(3) Vignette V7 Portal on Solaris 9

How do I see for the Processes ? I went to Windows Task Manager but cannot find any Java process there .

Attaching the Task Manager window .

It looks like you're running Norton on this particular box (which is, I assume, the same machine on which you're trying to install TS). There have been issues about having these two running together and I wonder if that might be related to the problem you're having. Try disabling NAV for now and try to install it. Otherwise, it doesn't appear as though you're running any IW-related processes.
