why can't other administrators run dm_LDAP job?

I have about 9 system administrators for 9 different applications.

Each of the admins is supposed to administer their own LDAP config and have the ability to run the dm_LDAPSynhronization job.

However, when we set a group to be the job owner, everyone can see the job, but the job never starts if user selects run.

What is the permissions assigned to the job? Have you tried assigning owner to be the specific admin (vs group)?
