OpenItem Functionality

Hello,

We have a requirement wherein we search a specific type of document. Each document has its own case folder.

We required to have an action on the searched document which should open the document case folder's folder view in openitem (not document's DocView).

Please suggest an approach to achieve this functionality.

Create your custom action that extends to Open folder.  Then in the action precondition, query for the case folder ID that corresponds to the document and pass that to your custom action.
