TBO Issue

Hi Experts,

i am implementing one TBO based on dm_smart_list, while importing type iam not able to see in the object type list.

if i am not import the type, directly deploy the project its giving error like upexcepected error occer.Please any body give me the solution for this

How are you "importing" dm_smart_list? Normally, dm_smart_list is created when you try to save a search.

How are you creating smart list? smart list is an internal object type that is created when you try to save a search. Are you trying to create smart list by yourself - do you even know the contents of what smart list looks like?

No, i dont want to create a smart list. While the object creation i need to change the acl thats it.

Your statement is different from your original post of problem while "importing". So whats your problem then? Since dm_smart_list is subtype of dm_sysobject, you should be able to create TBO just fine.

Ya, by mistaque i did write that. while

while creation of TBO is ther any need to add the object type or not. if i need i am not able to import the dm_smart_list into my workspace.

Only thing I can think of, is depending on how you implement your TBO, you might want to explicity query for the object type before applying your business logic.
