Start/Simulate deployments failing through OD Admi
ASHU3i
Hello,
I am not able to use the opendeploy admin gui to simulate the deployments. Also the deployments can't be fired.Using command prompt is also of no help.
For any of the deployments config files selected a error message thrown is "Falied to processing the config file XYZ.xml".
Please help.

If you want help - you need to post your config file (at the very least)

Hi ,
Thanks for the help
I am attaching one of the od config file. The same file is also used when the deployments are triggred through the workflow. And when it is triggred thorugh the workflow it works absolutely fine.
Now when iam using the same deployment script(and others also)through the OD admin gui the start deployment and the simulate deployments are failing.
So i feel the problem is the ad admin.
Pls advice.

when you simulate via the admin GUI - do you put parameters in, as per your config file? Most likely, your WFT's external tasks does that....

Hi,
Thanks for the reply,
Ya whenever i had to simulate a deployment or test start a new deployment script i used to manually place the parameters in the opendeploy admin gui and it worked fine. The same parameters are supplied(in back ground) when the deployment are happening through the workflow.
What do u feel can be a problem?
