Problem with perl module using iwpt commands

Hi,

I am trying to crate a perl module that can be used in different tpl's.
The module tries to access some dcr-data, unfortunately without any success.

I read in another thread about using TeamSite:T::iw_perl.
This does not seem to work neither.

Interesting - I thought there used to be documentation about how to create your own custom PT tags - but I don't see that anywhere right now - I found 2 references to doing so in the FormsPublisher Developer's Guide but no real focused documentation. The main point though seems to be that the custom tags would be <iw_xml>-derived.

So - although you were looking to create a module of code that might not have been meant to create a custom tag - you might need to 'use TeamSite:T::iw_xml or subclass your module as being of type TeamSite:T::iw_xml (as per the iw_xml documentation). [never done it myself, so this is all theoretical]

The other approach would be to assume that all values passed into your code are already in evaluated-form. E.g.: instead of trying to do an iwpt_dcr_value(...) within your module, assume that the value of that item is being passed into your module - like:

my $link = Custom::Module::calculate_link(iwpt_dcr_value('dcr.test'));

That's probably the easiest way to do it ...
