Selectable PTs

In TS 6.5, I have 5 presentation templates configured for one data type. The intention was to allow users to select the appropriate preview template - and probably select multiple layouts to preview.

Alas, TeamSite seems to 'remember' the previous preview used and default to it for the next preview.

Is there a configuration item to disable this 'feature'?

If not, I see a couple option -
train users to go to "Form Settings" for previewing. (not exactly intuitive), or
Set a preview event handler that handles the selection.

We were able to get this to work in 6.1, so it's worth a try in 6.5. Check out this post. Let me know how it goes.
