I have a question from a current prospect who does lots of SAP programming using a web service infrastructure.
He wants to call DFS through some SAP portal programming. Therefore he intends to register DFS in the SAP service catalog. The standard authentication in his
services environment seems to be SAML 2.0. The question is, do we support SAML 2.0 for DFS calls from SAP?
In the DFS documentation I found support for the following:
- WS-Security headers that comply with the Kerberos Token Profile 1.1 specification.
- Jax WS Authentication
Does one of the two mean SAML or is SAML just something we don’t support in DFS.
If Documentum does not support this ootb, can this be build for a customer or does this have to be manifested in the core product?
