How To launch a Form in between a business Process in Taskpace

Hi All,

We have a requirement where in Business process we have to do the following

1) After Launching teh Business process through Initail form , based upon a condition We need to provide user two separate Form which will be autopopulated from the data in Workflow process

2) This data now has to be edited by user(Ie workflow Initiator) through the form

3) Finally the edited data should be sent Back to the Workflow for updation

everything is fine But I am not sure how to throw a form in between the Business process.

Any Help is appreciated

Why dont you just incorporate the other user edit form into the first form? This eliminates the complexity of trying trigger open form.

Associate the form to manual activity in the workflow. For example, for step #2, you should have the workflow go back to workflow initiator to "edit data".

I tried that,

I associated the manual activity with a Task form(to edit data from the user), butthose activity were goig to workflow initators inbox, please let me know what I am doing worng>?

As i need the form within the process itself

Thats the point. When the workflow initiator accepts/opens the task, the form will be loaded such that he can edit the data in the form.

Yeah jhonny that is happening, But ourrequirementis to EDIT teh user data within the Process, I mean We dont want to navigate to Inbox Item and Open the tempalate, And I am stuck in that process, can that be done by any means?

How is the workflow initiator going to EDIT the user data (what UI)?

I mean when he workflow initiator opens the process he initially gets a initialisation form,

then following happens:

1) a data source adaptor automatically populates all teh attribut of the user

2) now in business process we see if the user is a part of group A or Group B we will have to provide two separate user edit form (Here we require teh form to pop up within the process or open a a new "Open Item" tab in taskspace )

Once the Edit is Done we can save the Update

Thanks Jhonny, i think thats the only way out in Taskspace, Although I earlier took that as Plan B...

There are more options in xCP 2.0, but I'm presuming you are working on Taskspace 6.7.
