German chars issue

Hi,

In some of our templates, German content is being captured.....

There are two DCT's Navigation and Feedback form

Feedback form can be created with german content ....some fields are like title etc and navigation DCR creates the Links for those Feedback form titles....

We have a callout in Navigation DCT....on choosing the appropriate feedback form, the title field of feedback form (in german) is fetched and replaced as a Link title in the Navigation DCR.......But the issue is, the Title fetched and replaced is not returning in UTF 8 format........i am not sure in what format it is returniong the values....howevere the german chars do not appear properly.....

for example..../BrandingandAdvertising/EMEA/AtommüllTransportkur_AllCountries_DE_C20051121145434733042.xml is the feedback DCR from where the tile is being picked up.......first few chars of the filename itself.....

when the title is being replaced in Navigation DCR, it is printing it as Atomm?ansport kurz vor dem Ziel ............so..some chars are replaced...

INterwoven support has identified this as a known bug......

Interestingly........In the original DCR(feedback form), where the title is stored, the xml file shows the proper german chars...only when we retrieve the value and replace on the other dcr...some chars are being converted as junk.....

Can anyone please suggest a workaround for this issue??
