How can I stop a blank document being created when a workflow started with no package (optional) att

Hi,

I have a workflow with an optional package that can be attached to it. When ever I start a workflow with no package attached to it, a blank document of size 0 bytes is being created. It must be coming from Process Data Mapping because I am appending some number to the object name. Please see the screenshot attached. The balnk packages created have only the number as the there was no name. How can I stop this.

Our environment is as follows:

Process Builder/Process Engine 6.7 sp1
Content Server 6.7 on AIX 6.1
DA 6.7
Webtop 6.7
Oracle 11.2 on AIX 6.1

Please share your knowledge and experiences for figuring this out.

It is an EXCELLENT idea. It is working...my DELETE query is working and deleting the blank documents created, but my auto activity DQL WRITE is going to "Acquired" state and is remaining there for ever. I could not identify the reason. I configured it with 5 attempts and also configured it to "Continue Execution" even if it fails. How can I change it "Forward" from "Acquired"? I am using DQL WRITE first time.

I am deleting the blank documents soon after they are created before I forward. In the WORKFLOW log file I see the following error:

[DM_WORKFLOW_E_MANU_PACKAGE]error: "Failed to manufacture packages for activity 'DQL- Delete blank documents created' (6) of workflow (4d01883f80005933)."; ERRORCODE: 100; NEXT: DfException:: THREAD: http-0.0.0.0-9080-1; MSG: [DM_WORKFLOW_E_BINDING_PACKAGE]error: "Package binding failed because no object could be identified by package ID (0901883f801eb4eb) with package label 'CURRENT'."; ERRORCODE: 100; NEXT: null

It looks it is referiing to deleted object Id "00901883f801eb4eb" and then failing to forward. How can i overcome this issue?

If you have any clue, please let me know.

You need to set an exit condition such that the query doesnt continually wants to execute it. Please read Process Builder guide on DQL activities for more details.

I could use DQL Read perfectly without any [exit] condition, but still I could not figure it out where and how I can use exit condition which is not at talked about in the Process Builder user guide. I will refer more documentation.
