Default Store Problem

I seen couple of other threads on the same store issue but opening a saparate thread.

Details: TeamSite6.5 SP1 WIN2K IIS
My Y: drive is visible (I have livesite installed and Y:\livesite is visible). I had "default" store, which is not visible now.
I checked the IIS, it is showing iw-mount with red error icon.
iwstat showing only livesite store running (no info about "default" store).
iwstoreadm -a default ... Error: Unable to activare store: I/O error.
I have also checked the memory, cache, diskspace etc...all looks fine.

How could I restore the "default" store. Any pointer/help/suggestions?
