Branch list element in avail templates
John742
I have not seen any documentation on this and wanted to know if anyone has been able to do this:
Branch list by it's very name seems to not look past the lowest subranch that is given to it. Can additional directories under the lowest sub branch be specified in this element?
Example:
default/main/sub_branch1/WORKAREA.......... - <can folders can be added here?>

If you search the forums you'll find LOTs of posts on this subject - some of that information is dependant upon which version of TeamSite you are using (including SP leve) and which GUI you're using.
Since you didn't bother to provide any such information in your post - I suggest you search the forum for something like "branch_list" and do a bit of your own reviewing to find the answers. Once you've done that, if you still have questions - post them in as detailed a manner as possible.

I always try to search the forums and the KB before posting. In this case I can find no thread that addresses this question. Seems like this should be in the admin for workflow, but I have said that many times before on other subjects.
Environment:
Version 6.5.0 Build 46299 Interwoven 20050310 on Solaris 9
using CCPRO Gui
I want to be able to run different workflows from within the same sub-branch and was hoping not to have to build the logic into the worfklow.
Seems this would be a cut and dry question. Does Teamsite's available templetes config support regex on specific subfolders within a branch? You are saying it is not a black and white question?

No - it's not black-and-white because you don't indicate what command(s) you are using to initiate the workflow:
- new_job
- submit
- assign
- tt_data
etc.
To the best of my knowledge, new_job and submit support full area-path information for use in filtering the available_templates.cfg file; tt_data on the other hand provides only branch-path information (not sure about assign, never used it)
That, along with RTFM about available_templates.cfg (branch_list / branch elements) should get you most of the way to your answer.
Note - if you try to launch a workflow from the Workflow tab (as opposed to the Content tab in the CCPro UI) all bets are off - because there is *no* branch context in the Workflow tab (this seems to be changing in 6.7 - but it's a bit premature to talk too much about that right now)
