error on search

I get the following error when I search with a user other than superuser:

[DM_FULLTEXT_E_EXEC_XQUERY_FAIL]error:"EXEC_XQUERY failed with error:ESS_DMSearch::ExecuteSearchPassthrough. Query Execution Error(100):

query:28:21:XQUERY_ERROR_VALUE:ApplicationInfo in doc("/Docbase/dsearch/ApplicationInfo/group") does not exisit (FODC0002), Error from QRServer, error code:-2"

Any ideas on how to resolve or debug this?

Try running ACL replication script - it is require to run a script to sync the permission to xPlore. The script located at <xPlore install directory>/setup/indexagent/tools/aclreplication_for_<your repository>.bat

open it in text editor, change the login name and password, then run the script.

I have an "invalid DSS Domain" error when I try to run the script. It is however correclty set in the script with the docbase name. Could it be because the docbase name has a number?

Did you changed the docbase number after you created the docbase? If so, this is NOT supported, since the original docbase number is part of every object ID.

The docbase number hasn't changed. Only the installation owner.

Looking at the of the script, it checks if the domain is valid by trying to construct a url and then attempting a regular connnection otherwise an ssl connection.

With the help of EMC support, the script was finally able to be executed

The error message was quite misleading. The solution was to add the group and acl nodes in the xPlore administration Data Management section under the docbase name.

After executing the script searches are possible again.

Can you give a little more detail on adding the group and acl nodes or the solution in general. We seem to be having the exact same issue. Renamed owner. ACL replcation script won't run and getting Invalid DSS Domain. But can't quite get problem solved from the information posted. Thanks a bunch.

We were finally able to figure this out....

As explained above go to your xplore console http://host:9300/dsearchadmin

expand data management in tree to left, find your domain and expand it

you'll see xml nodes like default and TrackingDB but you will not see acl and group

With dm_fbp clicked/highlighted click on NEW COLLECTION button at the top

name it acl, pick usage ApplicationInfo and category acl

click NEW COLLECTION to add another one

call it group, usage applicationinfo and category group

when you try to rerun aclreplcation and ftintegrity they should work

You will find the response to your question, more details about this subject and instructions on how to run the script.

In any case, the aclreplication_for_repositoryname.bat or .sh script is located at xplore_home/setup/indexagent/tools.
