Documentum migration upload , Bulldozer or other ?

Friends,

It has been few years since my last major Documentum migration project that required a mass upload, at that time I used Crown’s Bulldozer to get the job done, as many of you know the application has its advantages and pitfalls

Nowadays , Do you have any new players / recommendations or they are the only game in town ?

We are not a new player but you should look at OpenMigrate

OpenMigrate is Open Source (so free) and multi-threaded. Clients use it for lots of different migration scenarios including bulk load, ongoing loads, caching as wel as upgrades and is available free for download.

It is the most popular download in regards to our Open Source products for Documentum. All the different versions supported (including DCTM 4.x - anyone remember that or worse still using it?)

No doubt Buldozer is a robust ETL tool for Documentum migration, but is costly.

You may want to evaluate few other tools available in the market, like

Q-Transfer, Q-Transfer Lite from Impact systems.
