OTB Subscription from DA or webtop does not work after D2 installation

Hi All,

We have  Content server 6.7 sp2  and have D2 and DA installed,

- I created a dm_document using DA,

- subscribe to it

- start the to be read notifications using DA,

- view the document

- started a quickflow and routed it to my self using DA.

- complete the task

everything above worked fine through DA but I did not receive any notification for anyof my actions above.

After debugging found out that each time a request is created to send out notifications, a D2 method is executed to sendout an email.However, I am not using D2 client at all and the events are not even registered using D2 (as D2 has a different table where is checks for registered events.)

Has anyone seen it before?

Do we loose the OTB functionality of DA once we install D2 or its something wennt worng during the installation.

We came across the same issue with Content server 7.1. Do you remember if you have been able to identify the origin of this problem. Appreciate if you can share tips/knowledge.
