How to refresh preview frame with our custom control(Readonly table) in taskspace

Dear all,

I had a requirement in taskspace, in task form we have readonly table which contains records of documents information. when user selects one record from readonly table. that document will be shown in preview frame. Any help to achive this requirement.

Why are you using read-only table to pull back list of documents? Just use a search form with predefined query to run. The search results can then be previewed in inline viewer.

Thank you for your immediate response. Yes you right. But, the readonly table is generating rows dyanmically.

I am trying this way,

User select the row from table then he clicks on Preview button(my custom action button).

But I failing to refresh the preview frame.

I'm still not following your use case. You can define a search form and it will execute the search dynamically everytime the form is loaded. What is your query that you are using in the read-only table?

Sorry Johnny, I apologize for missleading you. we have review table(contentless objects), which contains review information of documents. So one document reviewed by more users, and review informations are maintained in that review table. Like that more documents follows the same. The readonly table fetches these infomation. In Task form we have attachments lists, From there user can select the document and he can preview the document. But the thing is we are maintaining different tabs, one tab for attachments and one for read only table. User no need to navigate to another tab for previewing each document while monitoring read only table.

I apologize for delayed response.

Our Use Case(Taskspace):

1) Documents are under going the review process(workflow) as attachments.(minimum 5 to 10 documents).

2) In the review process, these documents are parallely reviewed by users in a group.

3) while reviewing these documents, users will provide comments and status on individual documents.

4) we are maintining these information(comments , status, reviewed by and some more) in our custom type(content less objects).

5) In our Process, I designed task templet for reviewers task. In that I placed tab group, first tab contains Attachments, second tab contains readonly table, which shows the information about reviewes of those documents. so the user simultaneously review the document by viewing from preview pane and by seeing comments from review table(readonly table).

In this case, If the user need to preview another document, user should navigate to another tab which contains attachments and he need to select that document from the attachments to preview. Then he navigate to tab which contains review information table to check the comments.

To overcome these tab navigations, we are trying to implement the custom actions to show documents in preview frame while the user selecting the document review record from readonly table.

But as my understanding, in taskspace the preview function is implemented only in two components,

1) one is Attachments in form.

2) another one is folder content.(search also includes in folder content)

By handling onSelect function, they handled all these thing in scripts.

I still dont answer the difference between 1st and 2nd tabs, which is why I asked you to post screenshot.
