ipl failures
nagendra
Hi,
I suddenly started getting failure messages for all ipls in error.log, previously all these worked fine even though 'program files' directory has space in it.
I restarted the server(assuming memory issues) too......
TS6.5, windows 2000

Hi Nagendra,
I would recommend, that you choose a TeamSite install location, which doesn't
have spaces in its path name. (see also
http://devnet.interwoven.com/forums/cgi-bin/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=PRODUCTS_TEAMSITE&Number=57245
)
Problem is, that some processes are not spanwed correctly.
I think, that the false process spawing is also the reason of your
second open thread named "Build error".
If you search for "BUILD FAILED" "error=193" on google, you get some hints...
Don't know how the other devnet guys see the given TS install location...

I agree with you. I am not sure why that is the default install location. I have always installed TeamSite in C:\iw-home on Windows platforms to remove the issues you are describing. Plus, it makes the paths shorter and easier to get around when you need to perform command line script executions.

Hi,
I agree with you, but again reinstalling a server is not possible in my case. We should have done it with non space folders.
