TeamSite Demo

dazzlad

Hi People,

You'll soon realise that I am writing this to try and get out of doing some work but.....

As we all know TeamSite does very little out of the box.

I am on a project at the moment where the customer has very little awareness of TeamSite.

Did IWOV, or anyone else ever develop the TS equivalent of a hello world example:

- 2 or 3 DCT's - with TPL's.
- Basic Workflow.
- Simple deployment config to deploy html, images etc.

I just need to give a demo explaining the basics tomrrow, and I *hate* writing code unless I have to Smiley Happy

Thanks.
Darren.

Are the examples that ship with Teamsite not enough for you?
Or is it too much work to change the config files to point at them?

dazzlad

More the case that I didn't know that they were there.

I have just searched for .tpl files and found the examples folder that I never new existed.

Next time, could you just reply with a folder name, so I don't have have to do any work at all.

Thanks.
Darren.

Are you serious?! You'll be hard-pressed to find someone on DevNet generous enough to offer their worthy advice to you so you "don't have to do any work at all," nor should they. I can think of only one individual on this board kind enough to maybe do that for you but I certainly hope he doesn't in this case... the name "Jeff" comes to mind

sorry, i didn't select the correct emoticon to go with my post. It should have been a wink....

Migrateduser

Oh... not to sound cheezy but that changes things, I guess. Y'see, I thought you were being arrogant and asking others to do some research for you so you don't have to do any work but if there had been a winky face there, it would have looked more like you were either sarcastic or jovial and there is not currently an emoticon for that. Hmm, [sarcastic]? ... [jovial]? And what would the face look like??

Yes the position of arrogant poster has already been taken.

Don't get me wrong, I am entirely capable of being arrogant.... just not today.
