xcp2 xms-tools and xms-agent registering an environment with tomcat

we reinstalled our xms-agent app server on tomcat (linux)

we have xms-tools on a pc (doesn't appear to run on linux).

Now, when I create accts and register environments via xms.bat from xms-tools, it creates the env. You then have to toggle your app server (xms-agent).

I do that, then double check my env again in xms-tools (xms.bat). My entire env is blown away. It re-prompts for new password, and once in, everything is gone from my previous session where i created accounts and registered an environment. Nice. Anyone seen this yet?

Has anyone tried a tc server??? This is a standalone tomcat, but curious as to who is really using tc server. Seems like a large cost for the gain you get.

no, we didn't get it fixed. I moved my tomcat temporarily to a Windows box since we were rebuilding our entire suite of Linux boxes for a new fresh 7.0 env. The Admins still haven't given us the new Linux boxes (slow world w big clients). Anyway, I see teh blog link you gave, and we will try that once they newer boxes are setup. xMS has bee na big pain, but just in the last few days, we think we have it dialed in where we can consistantly deploy either CLI or via Designer.
