Dear all,
During our recent projects, we are facing a requirement that doesn't seem to be possible with Documentum. Our users are in "VERSION" access level on documentum's acl because we want them to create a new version each time they change the content of the document. But, we also want them to be able to modify the properties of the document without having to check-in/out the content. This kind of security is not available in Documentum. It would be great to have a extended permission called "Can modify properties of current version" thant can be set with a "READ" or "VERSION" access for example.
Do you know how this behavior can be achieve with Documentum? Is there a way to define a custom extended permission or something like that?
For the moment, we have to give "WRITE" access to the user in documentum and force the creation of a new version with our application (not Webtop)....not so bad but not perfect...
Regards,
Fabien.
