Extreme Document Load Time

TeamSite 6.1 SP2

We are getting users who when they are trying to save a DCR are getting an Internet Explorer message that pops up that tells them Extreme Document Load Time. It give the user two options - Wait for Document or Do not wait.
When they click "Wait for Document" IE eventually times out, without saving their changes. When they click "Do not wait" it closes their browser without saving their changes
Has anyone had this issue before?

Do you have VisualFormatEditor in the DCT?
It may be ewebeditpro related. Is this the only DCT that gives this error? Anything in iw logs? I saw a similar post on Ektron's website

Has anybody able to resolved this issue. The ektron link wasnt really useful to me. The user has IE7.0 installed on the machine. Is it related to that.

I have seen this issue quite a while ago in TS 6.1 - we were using a FormAPI OnItemChange event in a Visual Format field - iwov support advised that this error was caused by a patch install on top of SP2. They advised that the issue was resolvable by using OnSave instead of OnItemChange, and referred to a known bug #62468 - hope that helps!
