Sorting search results

bhall

I'm using TeamSite Search through the Java ContentServices SDK API.

Is there a way to get back sorted search results from the search server? E.g., since one of the indexed fields is the creation date, can I return results that are sorted "most recent first." Also note, I'm limiting the number of results that I get back from the server, so doing an in-memory sort on the search results doesn't seem like the right solution.

Suggestions?

Thanks,
Ben Hall

Hi,
The search results are sorted by relevance ranking. Currently there is no capability of sorting on other fields.
