List of users

Hi,

I am using xCP 2.0. I need to do the following. I have some object that I need to associate with some user or group of users. So I need a way to get a list of all users and groups and display them in a dropdown, for example. But I can't find a way to do it. A little help?

you can do by creating a stateless process using a dqlread activity to

fetch all the users from the object then map the output to an dataservice

instance,

you control has to be mapped with dataservice instance.

Can you guide me with a little more details, please? I can't find DQL in the Activities window... Or you mean Database - Read from Database? What query do I write?

Hi,

You may use an adaptor in your form with a dql query... Something like select * from dm_user where i_is_group<>1

Get w your acct rep or put in a ticket… there are non-released xcp 2.0 tutorials out there already. I got mine by putting in a SR (actually our DSE). Maybe its because I am partner is why they released it. IDK for sure. I suspect it will soon be out on ECN too. It helps tremendously with stuff like this. Also, I have taken the 2.0 Designer class. While it was good, it is essentially a repeat of what is in the tutorial.
