Documentum XCP : Form builder Drop down list maximum limit error

Hello all.,

I have got following exception initalizing drop don list in task space process template after clicking on Submit button.,

com.documentum.xforms.Submission -

[Form Error]

ID:xforms-submit-error

Error Message:

Instance validation falied

- /Activity[1]/ProcessData[1]/Variables[1]/adminDocContributor[1]

- Constraint valid - true

- Required valid - true

- Datatype valid - true

- Schema valid - false - Number of items (3) exceeds the maximum al

lowed (1).

and also drop down list is marked as "Number of item exceeds the maximum allowed "

I cant update the limits for drop down list in form builder as its disabled.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

Seems like you have binded the adaptor to dropdown list on the Special tab. Am I right? If yes. please bind it only on the Data&Source tab.

possible value limit option is disabled will enabled only for the repeatable attributes. By the way, I've never seen this option working properly.

You haven't show that on Special tab there is no adaptor

The error "Number of items (3) exceeds the maximum allowed (1)" usually occurs when you trying to write/save a multiple values to single attribute.
