ADTS 6.5 SP

Hi All,

We have installed documentum ADTS 6.5 SP2 on windows 2003 server and every time the Adlib Exponent Manager services stops immdiately after start.

Rest of the Adlib services are running fine but Exponent Manager stops.

I am using the AD\USER account to start the service.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Do you see any error message in windows even logs?

Hi Ahmad,

Yes, I checked the Event Logs and it says that "faulting application ExponentManagerServices.exe".

The problem started when the adlib license key replaced with the new one.

I am trying to find the root cause of this issue but no luck yet.

Did anyone else face this issue with ADTS.

Just a suggestion: Can you replace it with the old license key and see if it works with that? this way you would know it's the license key that's causing the issue.

Check all the log files, every "product" in the adts suite has its own log, from the logj4j located in documentum/logs to the several logs the Adlib products have. In one of those logs you'll find the actual error, otherwise trying to find out whats wrong its just a hit and miss
