CTS and Word Transformation

Hello Savvy,

I have few question about CTS and especially Word transformation to PDF :

Is it possible to transform Word title, references into PDF bookmark ?
Is it possible to select the hyperlink type in the PDF ?
Is it possible to add the police into the PDF ?
If i have object into my Word file, what i have in my PDF File ?
Is it possible to deal with revision mark in the PDF ?

Hi Julian,

I think most of us really don't use all the advanced features available with DTS, but simple conversions. I've checked the ADTS release notes (even when I'm sure you've already checked them), as it states the differences with DTS but there are no mention to the specific questions you ask.

I think your best best is going the traditional way: install adts and check wether it works or not

ps: I haven't done any custom CTS and I don't know anyone that has done it before, let us know if you do it

@yann_raphalen : Is Adobe Lifecycle a renderer ? It's not include with CTS ?

LiveCycle is a standalone editor from Adobe. I've used it to create PDF forms to be automatically filled in a workflow. It doesn't come as a CTS plugin.

It's not include with CTS. And yes, it's a renderer. You can call a webservice to create the pdf rendition.

For Adobe Livecycle, it's not possible cause i need to use D2 Link...

I will check ADTS manual and try to install it....

As I understand, ADTS doesn't exist anymore in Documentum 7... Only CTS and it doesn't use Advanced Adlib feature to create PDF...

ADTS 6.7 SP2 is compatible with Documentum 7. ADTS is now included in CTS, not sold separately.
