Limiting the number of files to be deployed

Hi,
In our project, weâ€™ve encountered a scenario where just a single file needs to be deployed to another folder.
When we use open deploy, the entire source folder contents gets deployed to the target folderâ€¦right?
Is there any method via which we could transfer the required file alone (ie the file attached with the workflow) to the destination folder,
Either through open deploy (prefered) or any other way?

We are using OD 6.0.1.

Have you RTFM'd about file list deployments? These are the most common type of deployments for use with workflows.

Hi,
I tried with the following command,
iwodcmd start atob.xml -k odfilelist=E:\Interwoven\iw-home\local\lists.txt.In lists.txt we have given a file path(E:\Interwoven\iw-home\local\filetext.txt). In the atob.xml file we modified the following snippet to set the file list.
(PFA snippet.txt)
Again all the files in the local folder are getting deployed.
Is this the correct way to implement this?

Two things:

Based on the snippet you attached - the path references within lists.txt should be *relative to* the area specified in your deployment - i.e. relative to E:\Interwoven\iw-home\local\aaa
You don't want to use remoteDiff - you want to use sourceFilesystem with the filelist option - see chapter 8 of the OD Reference manual (OD 6.0.2) for details.
