I've been trying to install Webtop Federated Search for Webtop 6.6 to try it, here you have some tips about problems I've came across:
- When you download the zip installer and pdfs (install guide/release notes) from subscribenet, the install guide found in Webtop federated search 6.6, is for the 6.7 version. You'll need to download the install guide from webtop extended search 6.5
- When installing you'll get a blank screen on the installer and in the error log you'll see a NoDefClassFound error. To fix this you need to copy commons-lang-2.4.jar from the DFC shared folder to the temporal folder created by the installer (yes, the installer copies some jars from the dfc shared folder, but not this one) after launching the installer but before the agreement window.
