Hi,

Is it possible to have a task generate an EPS file ? What type of encoder should be used ?

Yes. Almost any image can be converted to eps using the "Photoshop EPS" encoder. What results is a raster file in EPS format so it will tend to be big (as compared to a vector file), but "Photoshop EPS" is a subtype of general EPS and so it should be usable in any context you would use any other EPS file.

Hope this helps,
