Documentum Email Notification Issue with smail.exe

Hi,

I am running Content Server 6.6 on Windows 2003 and Oracle on 2 environments. In one environment the workflow email notification is working fine and on other it is not. When i tried to manually run the smail.exe to troubleshoot i am getting the below message:

C:\Documents and Settings\manir9>smail.exe -S "test smail" -A "rajesh.mani2@abc.com" -F "C:\manir9.txt" -Server "smtp.abc.net" -M "rajesh.mani2@abc.com" -V

Sending C:\manir9.txt to rajesh.mani2@abc.com

Subject:test smail

The mail server doesn't like the sender name,

have you set your mail address correctly?

Error: Connection to mailserver was dropped.

I am able to ping the SMTP server from the content server. Can anyone tell me what is causing this and how to fix this.

check once the smtp mail server details are configured properly or not in CS.
