Our environment is as below
Content Server 6.7 SP1 HPUnix Oracle Datbase.
We have custom DFS in web application(java) to communicate with documentum. Only filing and retrieving is our scope. Our custom DFS will connect to documentum using a specific user account by creating a object service and that object service will be used across the application which will remain until client time out. If that object service expired it will be created again.
Application has its own users but it will use the specific user to connect to documentum for upload & download. For past 2 years this implementation is done and its in live.
Sometimes the application could not able to connect to documentum and will through the below errors
Caused by: com.emc.documentum.fs.services.core.impl.execution.proto.dfc.DfcOperationException: Failed to retrieve relations from docbrocker
Caused by: com.emc.documentum.fs.services.core.CoreServiceException: Getting session id failed. Repository: "test_docbase".
Caused by: DfIdentityException:: THREAD: [ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '1' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'; MSG: [DFC_BOF_WRONG_IDENTITY] LoginInfo and Principal for "test_docbase" docbase are not defined or wrong.
We are surprised as the application were running fine and no changes done, but suddenly it could not able to upload or download files from documentum, and we have reported this issue to EMC.
EMC could not able to find out the exact root cause for this issue. And till now this issue happened for 3 times. we will restart the App server for interim.
Did anyone faced this kind of issues in your environment? Do anyone have any suggestions or idea on this issue?
