Process and Forms Builder problem

So, I've made a stupid thing and kind of broke my process...Here's what happened:

I've made a process with 4 activities, and gave to each activity a different form, Activity 2, 3 and 4. When I was testing, I reached the activity 2 and oops, clicked Finish instead of Foward..and **** begins now...

When I opened the forms associated with activities 3 and 4, they gave me and error: "This form is no longer associated with any processes. Any changes made will not be seen until this form is linked back to a process using Process Builder."

Well, I've tried to go in the Process Builder, opened the Activity Inspector to see the forms assigned to them, and both of the forms were not there, instead, the form assigned to the Activity 2 was there, in Activity 3 and 4, and know I have no idea of how to fix this.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm pretty sure Finish and Forward do exacly the same in an standard form window...

Are form 3 and 4 in installed state?

Is this requirement to attached different form at different level?

Hi, for some reason my form template had become disassociated from the process activity. I was looking for a way to re-associate the form with the process as the form used many adaptors which I am not keen on redoing.

Hi Ckcheung,

In the past I had a similar problem and I checked and solved by working with DQL and dm_relation

1) Find the r_object_id of your process (dm_process)

2) Find the relations with the form by using this kind of select

select r_object_id, relation_name, parent_id,child_id from dm_relation

where parent_id = '4bxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'

I have seen this before. I don’t recall the exact solution. Its been like a year or so. You may need to manually repair the dm_relationship objects. I haven’t used it in a while, but there in xcelerator too that helps associate forms with processes too. Search for that too, it may help.

You can use the following DQL to create the relation between your process and form templates:


create dm_relation object
set relation_name = 'dm_process_form'
,set parent_id = '<YourProcessID>'
,set child_id = '<YourFormTemplateID>'
