java.lang.stringindexoutofboundsException

Every once and awhile...especially after restarting the OD services I get
HTTP Status 500-
java.lang.stringindexoutofboundsException: String index out of range: -26

…when logging on the OD admin console. Most of the time I just close my browser open a new one and I am logged in. (No need to complain at that time)

I now have a user that is getting the same error…but when he tries a new browser (cleared the cache and all that) he keeps getting the same error (He’s in a different location). I asked him to try another computer and it worked fine. He keeps saying it's on the server side.

Anyone experience the same issue? Anyone have any ideas on what to do?

I asked him to reboot...still same error. I restarted the OD Admin and the OD Service…same results.

Is there a stack trace to go along with that error? Are you seeing this in the log or on the browser itself? This is may be a bug.

Nevermind that... someone else posted the stack trace on another thread. I have filed a bug report.

Is there a consistent way to reproduce this... I am guessing that the URL you are hitting has some ? extension it like
http://localhost:8081/iw/opendeploy/StartDeployment?a=b

If you know how to reproduce it will make our testing easier.
