D2 4.1 and Syncplicity Connector

Hi Everyone,

I have configured Syncplicity connector with D2 4.1. and All it does just bring tick mark against the folder i have already synched to Cloud using Syncplicity config. Am i missing some thing as i was thinking that it would provide me with some flexibility to publish my content to Cloud but i dont see it.

Am i missing some thing or this is what it does at this point only?

Please advise?

Where did you locate the connector for D2?

Hi Khawar,

As you said above, if you have already synced (published) to the cloud, you should see tick mark before the folder and file. To Browse the documents in the cloud, use the online file browser(ofb) by logging into Syncplicity and then clicking on the "Files" tab. If you are having any issues with this, open a ticket with the Syncplicity Support team @ Syncplicity Support.

Thanks for your reply. I have it working with 6.7 SP2. I can browse it on the cloud using online client. I was expecting it to work same as it is working with Syncagent and Syncconfig.i.e create profile, than folder to Sync etc

My assumption was once agent will be configured with D2, i will be able to right click and publish content seemlessly to cloud, It only shows tick mark against the published content. Is this initieal stage of integration?

Which syncplicity do you use ? Is an enterprise version or a free version ?

Hi Jilien,

I guess i used enterprise as it wasnt available to download free and some one from EMC uploaded to my profile.Though i am working on some issue with EMC and Syncplicity regarding its functionality but not D2 4.1.

An entreprise account is mandatory (you can create an entreprise account and test the connector during 1 month).

Two hotfix for syncplicity 1.0 has been made (sync-431-hotfix and SYNC-258-hotfix-67SP2) and should solved some problem.
