usetask back to grouptask

This is regarding CLT: iwundochoice

I have 2 cases in which one is working and the other is not.

case 1:

Grouptask -->users in that group receive email with link to a ipl which will set the owner of the grouptask as the person who clicked on the link
and transition to the next task which is a cgitask --> cgi has a cancel button which will undochoice to takeback the task
and reset the owner to none.

OnClick action of the cancel button should undo this choice and reset the user to none for the grouptask.
So, i had ran these 2 command from the cgi script(.ipl) and it works.

iwundochoice <grouptaskid> - goesback to the grouptask and
iwuntaketask <grouptaskid> - resets the grouptask owner to none

the task goesback from the cgi to group with owner as none.

Case 2:

Grouptask -->users in that group receive email with link to a ipl which will set the owner of the grouptask as the person who clicked on the link
and transition to the next task which is a usertask but the ipl will point to a cgi script which has a cancel button which
should do similar action as above.

say i am in the usertask and i am trying to undochoice to go back to grouptask and it gives me an error.
But the iwuntaketask works and resets the owner of the grouptask to none.
But resetting the group owner to none will not help as the usertask is still active.

iwundochoice <grouptaskid> - gives an error. (ERROR:00001: Failure in operation)

Why did the command work previously and why not for the second case.

Does the grouptask from which you transitioned (in either case, but specifically in the case for which iwundochoice fails) have more than one possible transition available to it?

If so - that would explain the failure - from the CLT manual (emphasis added):When a user chooses a transition from a usertask or grouptask, that choice can be taken back. iwundochoice reverses one such task. The iwundochoice CLT cannot reverse a transition for a task with multiple successors. If that's not the case, you might want to contact support and see if this can be submitted as a bug.
