Calling Perl Scripts in Presentation template

Hi ,

Trying to call a perl script in 5.5 in presentation template, as follows:
`/teamsite/iw-home/local/core/scripts/newsroom.ipl $output_fname '$date' '$headline' '$dcrName' '$overview_summary' '$homepage_summary' '$show_on_homepage' `;

It is working fine.

But the call/code is not working in Teamsite 6.5 presentation template.(the structure of presentation template is unchanged).

Could anyone guide us to call external perl scripts in 6.5 presentation templates.

A shot in the dark:
Try to add the executable iwperl in front of the path to your ipl script:
`iwperl /teamsite/iw-home/local/core/scripts/newsroom.ipl $output_fname '$date' '$headline' '$dcrName' '$overview_summary' '$homepage_summary' '$show_on_homepage' `;
or
`/yourpath_to_iwperl/iwperl /teamsite/iw-home/local/core/scripts/newsroom.ipl $output_fname '$date' '$headline' '$dcrName' '$overview_summary' '$homepage_summary' '$show_on_homepage' `;

what does it mean when you say 'not working'? what error mesages are you getting? have yo tried to run the same command from a command line?Have you done basic debugging steps before asking this question?
