Submit button greyed out in 'My favourites'
zombie
I am using teamsite 6.1 on windows 2000 sp4 system with 1 GB Ram.
When I log into the teamsite CCpro interface, i am able to select files from multiple folders and add them to the 'My Favourites' area using view > Add to Favourites' option. But when I access this 'My favourites' area the submit button is greyed out (disabled).
What could be the reason for this? Is there any parameter that needs to be set in the configuration file?

If the file is not modified, the Submit button will not be active. Another possibility is that the file permissioning is incorrect. another possibility is that the logged in user is not able to submit.
Just some quick thoughts. Hope it helps.

Another possibility (unverified) is that perhaps the files are from multiple workareas. Since a given task in a workflow can only be associated with one workarea, it is possible that IWOV is preventing you from attempting to submit files from more than one. Your workflow would be destined to have problems if they allowed it.

No. This behaviour is noticed even for files from the same workarea but from different/same folders or even if i select a single file. Except for the 'edit' and 'preview' buttons, all other buttons ( Compare, Import, Submit) are greyed out.

I'd expect this behaviour as your favourites do not have to be files or workarea's even.
You can set a branch or even an edition to your favourites!
So I expect there should be no action on any items within the favourites apart from edit I guess.

Thats absolutely true. Thanks Jeremy.
But is there any way we can enable the submit option since we are definitely not going to add any branches/WA's to the My Fav area. Its only for the authors who login to the CCPro interface and who need to submit files from multiple folders.

If the files they need to submit are all in the same workarea, and have all been edited (have the pencil next to them) then couldn't they use the View -> Modified Files to see the complete list of files that have changed, and then select the ones they need to submit?
