Does Documentum 6.7 support DITA v1.2?

Hello,

We are currently using Documentum as our content repository in conjunction with XML editors like XMetal and oXygen XML. We need to upgrade our current DITA v1.0 to DITA v1.2 as the latter provides a lot of features that we need to take advantage of.

Hi, I've just confirmed that DITA 1.2 is now supported with XML Transformation Services 6.7 SP2 P03 (included in the Content Transformation Services Patch 03, 6.7 SP2). This patch is downloadable from the Documentum download center.

The authoring tool integrations with Documentum are built and supported by the authoring tool vendors. Please check with your authoring tool vendor for their plans to support Documentum 6.7.

I asked the question because we want to use the DITA OT that comes bundled with Documentum is currently at version 1.0.

This is necessary to know because we need to run transformation of the DITA content on the server side.

Or maybe I should have asked how to update the DITA Open Toolkit to the latest version in the Documentum environment.

All we need to know at the moment is the support of DITA v1.2 within four our DITA XML content.

Otherwise the respective vendors that we use already support the desired version of DITA, which is DITA v1.2.

Our preferred tool oXygen XML Editor already integrates and works well with Documentum 6.7.

As Jerry said, there's no specific support for DITA 1.2 on DCTM. The third parties vendors can provide you this support or you can write specific code to perform your needs;
