2 external task, 2nd hang

I got 2 external tasks which called in the same ipl with different parameter
if i can both task separately , it works fine on both
if I put both together , it will hang , ( I can still see the task under my task list - status is complete )
I can run the command line to finsih the 2nd task
(commandline: generate.ipl 28243 28249 \default\main\Internet\WORKAREA\Internet )

Both task will work fine.

I try to put retry and immediate in 2nd task, but it didnt help at all.

Can you start the workflow in debug mode and post the XML?

my first thought is that your "index.php" parameter is part of the command value, and becomes your first parameter...so @ARGV[0] is now that, instead of the usual workflow/job ID...what does your debug log say the arguments passed to it are?

I'd suggest you have your external task script check how many arguments it's been passed...if 4, first one is your custom one, then the last 3 are the typical interwoven 3, use them same as you are now when you only have those 3...

A couple of thoughts come to mind here:

@ARGV

@files

If you're really planning to run the script back-to-back like this, you could modify the code to do both parts and avoid the extra task and the extra invokation of the Perl process

That being said, we'd probably have to see the entire script in order to provide any additional ideas for debugging it as it's being used right now

I checked the log file which tell the task is invalid

If i run the task in command line , it works fine .
and the task can be finished

The problem is solved by Support Team.

In the wft file's getCmd subroutine, replace the refereces to iwperl with iwperl.exe
I've seen problems where if the executable is not included, sometimes there are problems executing the script.
