How to archive old content on tape and restore back

Hi,

I have around 350 GB of old data, I want to archive them on some tape/storage.I have done initial R &D and found that dm_archive and dm_restore can be used for the same but couldn't get the full stuff,

Have anybody done that? Please help out.
