xMS (xCelerated Management System) installation failed

I know this is a stupid beginner question, but I don’t know the answer – please assist me:

I try to use the xms Server installation:

I failed on the first line.

I can’t connect to my media location.

My {media-location} is located local on the same machine in the folder c:\installs

I have full access on this folder and I know my password. So what is wrong?

Could you share your install_xms_server.properties file and the install folder structure?

From the screenshot I see that your media location is specified differently.could you please do the following

1) share the c:\installs folder (the windows share)

2) specify the windows share access like (\\<hostname>\<share location>) here is an example

EX: if my share folder name is install and my hostname = Enigma my share folder in xms should be specified as follows

\\Enigma\install
