adding checkbox to datagrid

Hello All,

I want to add one column (for check box)  in datagrid (which is not coming in the query results ) so that in UI a user can select a row/record through check box.

for reference I have attached the UI screen, can any one please share any sample code snippets or suggest any existing components which will be works similar.

I *think* that there's some standard stuff too that should be covered in the wdk development guide so i'd point you check in that direction..

alternatively just add a column in the datagrid th and in that column define a datagrid with checked false (actually you can use the datafield and modify the query to get true or false in a named attribute of the result set and use that column in the datafield of the checkbox to determine whether it's checked or not)..

*personally* I try to use custom built stuff for our clients pretty much always ask for stuff that is FAR away from an OOB solution, so I'd go with a custom checkbox tag that has a secondary attribute that points to a r_object_id  of the involved row//object listed and define an action on the button that checks if more than one checkbox in the datagrid is checked on it behaves differently (it's pretty much the implementation for multivalued checkbox that it's in OBB component but as I said i prefer to always get it covered my way)..
