I think xCP is seperate package. It will come with Content Server,DA,Taskspace,Composer etc.
It's not a package but a license for several products (taskspace, process builder, forms builder, process engine, process integrator,...) that you can download from subscribenet and install in your existing environment (meaning that, when you have the xCP license, you can download taskspace 6.5 sp2, process builder 6.5 sp2, etc...)

Today morning, I had one interesting discussion with one of the recruiting manager regarding xCP.
They had an xCP requirement and when it came to my experience on xCP, I have last worked on Taskspace 6.5 sp2 version related products. This was in the year 2010. I explained him saying this term "xCP" did not come up at that time and it was only after the release of Content server 6.6, taskspace and other related tools were categorized under xCP 1.5 version and now the latest version being xCP 2.0.
But he wanted me to mention specific version of xCP which I've worked on!
I want to find out this info.
I think is:
xCP 1.0 -> DCTM 6.5
xCP 1.5 -> DCTM 6.6
xCP 1.6 -> DCTM 6.7
xCP 2.0 -> DCTM 7.0
I don'tk think there are remarkable differences in the 1.x branch, as much as bugfixes or some new BPM methods...
