Copying and moving objects in documentum

Hi All,

When we view or checkout any file in documentum, it creates temporary file on local system and getFileEx2() method gives us local file path. And using TBO we can get the local system's file path. Is  there any temporary file created while copying/moving one object from one folder to another? If yes which method returns local system path where the file is located.

Hi,

Try the followig, login with your DA and check the config under, Administration > Content Server > {select your content server} witht he right mouse click and display properties.

Click on the TAB locations and check the paths which are used for each of the features. There is one for TEMP, in my case it says the default value {Documentum}\share\temp

However keep in mind it could be also directly under the repository (docbase) directory.
