Dear all,
How can I import a document, from the file system to a workflow ?!
All I can do is importing from the repository.
I know this should be a simple question, but I can not find any xCP designer 2.0 user manual.
Use the Object Selector widget.
Select if the end user will choose objects from a repository (a selector action flow) or from the local file system (an import action flow). Select the action flow instance.
Dear Coper,
Thanks for your help. I tried using the selector, and it worked fine.
But what happened is that I have to search for a folder or a document, then import the document to it. What i need is to attach the document directly to a workflow, the same way I can attach any document from the repository directly to the workflow.
I really appreciate your help.
You want to attach the document without importing it to the repository? I don't know if that is possible. AFAIK you have to import the document because must be a document type inside documentum.
Can I have it stored in a temporary default location in the repository??? , without having the user to select the folder. At the end of the workflow, it will archived in its appropriate location.
FYI, I created a content type for the document with its appropriate meta data, all I want to do is to allow the user to Import it & fill its data in the flow.
