Update Attributes in Documentum

Hello,

I am new to documentum, we need to send(documentum Job) some id (attribute) from documentum/D2 when ever there is a new id added or existing one is updated and we also need to send some id (attribute) from inputAccel when ever there is a new id added.

The id needs to be sent   to another system using web service call, based on the id we send  in turn we need to receive message back with some  other values (based on id) that we need to update the attributes in the documentum/d2.

can someone please advise as to how to implement it?

1) an example how to initiate the web services from documentum?

2) How to update documentum attributes?
